West Creek Camp
1945
The 40 acres, about 1 1/2 miles above Glen Haven, CO was purchased from "MA"
Rector for $8,000.
The mortgage was paid off in 5 years, and additional property was
purchased.
At one point, the camp could not officially use the Girl Scout name, so it
was called West Creek Camp.
Later, the camp was found to be too small for the needs of Girl Scouting.

Elks donated a new station wagon for the Girl Scout Camp in 1954. |

Sometimes this camp was identified as being in Devils Gulch,
but it was the same camp.
