The first official Girl Scout fixed blade knife
was offered January 1926 by the
Cattaraugus Cutlery Company of New York
with a 3 1/2" blade with the trefoil on the blade.
"Girl Scouts" was stamped on the tan sheath
and had a Cattaraugus Cutlery snap.
It sold for $1.60.
Fixed blade knives were not offered
during the World War II era due to metal shortages,
but reappeared in the catalog in 1947.
