1932, earlier sewing kits do not seem to have the GS logo

 

1934 - these two kits have different addresses imprinted on them. The top kit is older.

1942 version did not include scissors, likely due to rationing of metal for the war effort.

Although not found in GS catalogs, it is likely that the Brownie version was from this era.
