Girl Scout Fiction Books 1940-1959

It's a fictional story of the very real Western Hemisphere Camp held in August 1941 in Bonnie Brae, MA.
This book was sold in the GS catalog.

Edith Ballinger Price (1897-1997) was a prolific author and poet.
As noted on the cover, this was part of The Way of Life Series, but I can't find any other information about that series.

Wings of Courage was sold through the GS catalog.

This title sold for many years in the GS catalogs. The original was written in 1870.

Books could, and should , be written about this remarkable woman, Mildred Augustine Wirt Benson who wrote (in secret) the Nancy Drew series and several other series. AP Photo.
